About
Washington State photographer, living in a region in Southeast Washington known as the Palouse
A main focus is the region but will capture images across the state and anywhere travelled
With a love of landscapes, the ocean, wildlife, events and people, are all reasons to stop and enjoy the beauty around
My Story
And now it is rare I don’t have a camera with me.
And I am that person on the side of the road.
I moved from western to eastern Washington to attend college, met the man I would marry, and just stayed. Then a move from the city to a house with some acres in the country, we raised some animals and some kids. Now, four grown kids later, I have some time to explore with my camera.
Living in the heart of the Palouse region, the rolling hills and the open sky show amazing beauty in every season. The fields showcase a whole range of greens, yellows, and browns and the snowy whites.
One day I realized I was mindlessly driving and missing all things beautiful around me. So I made a conscientious decision:
To stop and look
To appreciate
Maybe to photograph
And that has led me to sharing my photographs…of the landscapes and the clouds, the farm machinery, the animals, or the beauty across the state, of the water, the boats, sea shores and sea life,.
